Sterling Solutions and GA Tech's Supply Chain and Logistics Institute are founding members of the Integrated Food Chain (IFC) Center.  The IFC Center is an industry/academic joint initiative to identify and resolve critical integration issues across the end-to-end food chain.

Sterling has been awarded an additional contract with a major food manufacturer in managing the implementation process of a production expansion for a new product line.  This includes assistance with planning, equipment sourcing, line layout, production ramp-up and management oversight.

 

Nick Pacitti and David Sterling are leading a four day Cold Chain Management course at the Georgia Tech Supply Chain and Logistics Institute from January 23rd through January 26th.

Sterling is working with a national supplier of sealant and waterproofing materials to develop a SKU Rationalization Model to decrease overall inventory and ineffective SKU deployment.

Sterling completed the distribution assessment for a major elevator manufacturer and service provider.  Recommendations included the identification of opportunities resulting in significant levels of savings, ranging up to greater than 15% of logistics costs.
